The effect is similar to Overlord Clear overall, if you perform a ritual with the same name as Tribute, you can remove Special Summon monsters. It is quite heavy under the conditions and does not mesh with the effect of 2.
2 has a Catastle-like removal and Burn, but it requires Salamangreat Link and currently has only Link 3, Lio, so this is also a bit expensive.
It's an easy-to-search and flashy effect, but it's a heavy card that requires heavy activation conditions for rituals that tend to be consumed.
If you can prepare Lio with at least one card in your hand, or if he doesn't show up in Salamangreat as Link 1, I think it's a little tougher than Magician.
