《Effect Veiler》is old! ?
Trap version Effect Veiler that can be activated from your hand at any time if you don't have any cards in your field. In other words, even if the attack is taken first, it can be interrupted with a Trap, so ①《Called by the Grave》will not negate it. ② It becomes a Special Summon trigger such as 《Altergeist Multifaker》. ③ You can negate the opponent's 《Archlord Kristya》etc. before the development of the second attacking turn.
This alone is strong, but since it is a basic Trap card, it can be turned face down and does not interfere with strategies such as 《Monster Gate》or 《Card of Demise》. There is absolutely no waste in that one copy can compete with 《Anti-Spell Fragrance》and 《Vanity's Emptiness》, and just stacking 3 copies will increase the responsiveness of the Deck.
Its only weakness is that it is very expensive due to its strength.
