Conversely, if those decks aren't mainstream in the environment, there will be a permanent meta that can be adopted for those decks.
Since it can only be activated at the start of the main phase 1 and when there are no monsters on the field, it can be used to go first and play it as you please, or to use the effect activated before the main phase to perform NS/SS. There is no way around it, and 《Vanity's Emptiness》's self-reflection is being used.

Recently, there are more decks that don't do normal summon (or rather, less need to do it because of goufu and torch golems), but it's still painful to be sealed in either normal or special summon.
