If it was also compatible with Special Summon, the presence of 《Empowerment》would have been enough to differentiate it from 《Goblindbergh》.
Even if this card was level 3, this time there would be a super senior called Marauding Captain.
It is also a bad point that the battle position is also designated as a defense and cannot be used for offense.
Since it's vanilla, I think it would have been nice to have allowed the battle position.
As a follow-up, the above two cards have the same attributes and races, and I feel that my shoulders are narrow.
Unlike 《Goblindbergh》, it might be an advantage to be able to cast 《Inferno Reckless Summon》against vanilla, but in the first place vanilla can easily SS with support such as 《Unexpected Dai》, so why not use this card for that reason alone? And it won't.
The effect is a scaled-down version of Goblindbergh, so let's take advantage of the "Empowered Warrior" category.

Vanilla isn't something you want to expand your basic hand...
The wall of 《Goblindbergh》is high, as it can be used in non-vanilla versions and also suffers from a static side.
It can only be used with Normal Summon, so it's a bottleneck that it can't be used from 《Empowerment》.
For the time being, it may not be possible to consider adopting it if you can make use of the fact that it has the highest hitting points among the lower class Empowered Warriors and the attribute is earth.

It has a more combat-friendly stat than 《Goblindbergh》, and although it has the advantage of being able to fight even if you use its effects, it will be a backwards-compatible card because the range in which it can be called is considerably narrower. At the moment, there is no particular reason to prioritize it, but if "Empowered Warrior" is categorized, it may have some significance.

A Doberg-like card that can only be deployed in vanilla instead of having a high ATK.
If it becomes possible to add Normal Monsters to your hand, it's possible to surpass it, but at the moment I can only think of a mass production factory or 《Backup Soldier》.
Still, since it's basically a level 4 captain type Warrior card, I think it's a powerful card that will bite you if you think about backward compatibility.
