In decks that use a lot of spells, there are many cards that refer to GY's spells, and there are few cards that refer to his removed spells.
More than that, it is fatal that even a card that does not pass as a link appeared.
In the current environment where the popularity of Normal Spell removal is declining to the extent that even Sambol is allowed, I think there is no point in using this because it takes time to activate and even chooses the opponent.

Spell cards don't have many ways to be reused, so it's often not a loss even if you remove them, but it's a removal that depends on how many you remove, so it's inevitably behind Dark Hole. Since it is based on defense power, it may be eliminated even with a small number of exclusions, but it does not correspond to the backside Defense Position, and if the opponent is high in both offense and defense, the number of cards that must be excluded increases, and there is a possibility that it will not be possible to deal with it.

Spell recovery is limited, and if you remove 5 or so cards, it might work as a sweeper.
