Along with 《Octoberser》and 《Twin Long Rods #2》, the monsters included in the 2nd regular pack of the 2nd season that digested the "last leftovers" left behind in DM2 to OCG.
Around this period, there were still 3 Aqua left, and it seems that the number of Aqua vanillas in the first period was abnormal.
At first glance, he's just a weak monster, but at level 2 he's an Aqua/WATER vanilla. .
More than anything else, I was even moved by the fact that a mere vanilla monster that wasn't originally from the original was remade into Psychic X called Armor Cover because it could use supernatural powers. Although it is not a designated fusion material, including its high price, I would like to add 1 point to this card.
In True DM2, it has an effect in line with the flavor text that damage to the controller becomes 0 when fighting, and it was also one of the best monsters to probe the opponent's set card.

Comprehensive evaluation: Almost the same as 《✪ Melting Red Shadow》.
The basic operation is to expand with 《Rescue Rabbit》to become 《Toadally Awesome》, and it also supports 《Debris Dragon》.
However, under the same conditions, 《✪ Melting Red Shadow》also exists, and his ATK is slightly higher over there, and the usefulness under 《Wetlands》is higher.
The defensive power is high here, but it's hard to say that it's a useful difference.

It seems to prevent damage with various supernatural powers, but of course it's vanilla, so there's no such thing.
Perhaps because it's early vanilla and its level is low, it sacrifices its ATK to gain a defensive power that can knock down an average low class, and Oppressed People is in a state where it can block attacks much better.
What would have ended up as a vanilla vanilla in the early days, later as Xyz Monster he was reincarnated as a Psychic, gaining the superpower to truly block attack damage.
Also, currently, due to vanilla support such as "Rescue Rabbit", it's pretty easy to line up, and it's easy to play with two bodies overlaid, so although he hasn't been strengthened in any way, he's a little more blessed than other vanillas. I think you can say that.
Well, if I get two of these now, it's usually Toadally Awesome.

It corresponds to 《Wetlands》, but his ATK is the same as 《Water Spirit》, so unless you can make use of the difference in level, you will probably give up your seat over there. Even if that's not the case, there are several vanilla cards with higher RBI than this card, so it's a lower priority.
