Blocking attacks isn't a bad thing, and if you block the attack of a monster that your opponent put out as an attacker, your opponent will hesitate to use it as a material.
That said, if you're going to block attacks, it's better to aim for removal, and even if you're going to do something about having destruction resistance, it's better to aim for combat assistance with weakening or something like that.
Dragon and WATER are no longer uncommon, so it's not enough to give priority.

In the past, the rank of low-ranking dragons was thin, so at the time of its introduction, it could be said that it was a user-friendly low-ranking dragon attacker.
However, now that we're inflated, blocking attacks and changing battle positions won't have much of an impact. It also became easier to avoid by being used as a material for various summoning methods.
If you target a large one that takes time and effort, you may be forced to choose between blocking the attack or using it as a material to deal with it indirectly, but many of the current large ones are strong against effects.
