The effect when sent to GY looks weak, but it works surprisingly well.
Unexpectedly, there are times when the ship doesn't have equipment, but if you discard it during your opponent's turn due to ship A's effect, you can equip ship B and interfere with it. (Though I don't think this situation happens very often.)
I feel like it's a lower priority than Shirahige, but it's still strong

The effect of (1) is that you can conditionally use a "Patrollship" monster from the EX Deck, and you can also equip this card to a "Patrollship" monster other than a Link Monster, which is its strength.
As for the effect of (2), by using it as a Synchro Material or Fusion Material for a "Patrollship" monster, I think it's excellent to be able to immediately equip it and exert its effect.
I think the fact that it supports "salvage" is also a selling point.

Furthermore, the unique effect of this card is the effect of boarding the Patrollship of the field. Whitebeard and this card's unique boarding effect can only be used during the opponent's turn, so if you're aiming for preemptive control, you'll want to prepare an equipment card with this card.
If you want to create a preemptive board with Patrollship, this is the card you want to have.
