No. Xyz was noted only for the reason that it was Rank 4 of Unbound Pyro only at one time. It only has the effect of completely discarding Xyz materials, and the only cards that can be equipped are Xyz-type cards. Direct attacks are good, but it's a delicate point whether to use extra frames to adopt them.
