It can interfere with recovery, but as it's been said a lot, Crow and Warashi don't allow reuse at all, and they can interfere with his GY activation and use, so versatility is higher.
Being able to deal with effects that don't target is a clear advantage, but the collection effect itself isn't even a major action due to the speedup. I think it's pretty hard to prioritize.
