Tokens can be generated just by being destroyed, and can be connected to advanced synchro summons, but regardless of Tribute Summon, scapegoats and Fires of Doomsday are easy to handle for synchro summons. That said, I think it's effective as a wall that can survive even after receiving mass removal. Good
