"Homemade Duel Royale Harpie Edition" Deck 2023

Playing

I challenged myself to create his 8th Deck of Duel Royale, which has become a phantom, and this time I tried to create his Harpie Deck, which I think had the greatest potential in terms of name recognition of the original. I can't give you a detailed win rate, but although there are some advantages and disadvantages between decks, it is possible to play with a reasonable balance. I would like to specify the reason for using each card and how to move his deck, but it seems to be a huge number of characters, so I will omit it here and I would like to answer questions in the comments.

It's been a while since I posted, and I have some free time, so I would like to explain why each card is used and how to use it.

Strength

《Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys》×１
This is his deck's sub-ace attacker. In the environment of Duel Royale, the pseudo effect destruction resistance is very strong. Together with 《Hand of Nephthys》, you can easily set up a counter against the opponent who hits Recruiter. His weak point is his ATK of 2400, which is unsatisfactory for a superlative monster. Let's support the opponent who hits high RBI with a face down card. By the way, in order to prevent you from actively activating the storm effect when reviving, this deck list omits cards that encourage self-destruction as much as possible.
《Swift Birdman Joe》×１
A high-level monster with a hurricane effect. It is also the release trigger for 《Kujakujaku》. 《Cybertic Wyvern》, which was previously used, was considered too strong to trade with 《Dark Magician》with a single Tribute, so it was used instead. You can of course bounce your opponent's face down cards, but you can also bounce and reuse your own cards. As with Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, his ATK is unsatisfactory, so you can buff his ATK with Harpie Lady 1 or Harpies' Hunting Ground, or support him with face down cards.
《Harpie Lady Sisters》×１
The billboard card for this Deck. The highest RBI that can be called with 《Elegant Egotist》. However, there is nothing I can do about it if it ends up in my hand, so when I deal with this deck, I will laugh and forgive the mischievous girls who ended up in my hand, and promptly send it to his GY as a hand cost. It is necessary to be ruthless.
《Harpie Harpist》×１
The handyman of the Harpie world. With its Harpie name, debounce and search effects, it just makes up for what this Deck lacks. Remember that the search effect will be activated even if he sends it to GY as a hand cost, and it will not be activated if he is not in GY during the end phase. By the way, he has other new cards bearing the name of Harpie, but I personally think this is the only card that can be used in Duel Royale.
《Harpie Queen》×１
A Harpie monster that can search for 《Harpies' Hunting Ground》. I used to use 2 copies, but I decided to use 1 copy to further suppress the power of 《Harpies' Hunting Ground》, which would stick too much into certain of her decks. Since he is a low class monster and has ATK 1900, it is up to the player to use him as an attacker or as a searcher.
《Wind-Up Juggler》×１
A helper foreigner who came to Japan to help her Harpies who are not good at high RBI. It can be used in the same way as "D.D. Warrior" and "Yomi Ship" in her other decks. Although it is not recommended, depending on the situation, it is possible to crush the opponent's recruiter. Please keep in mind that duel royale's target audience may not be familiar with the Psychic race.
《Hunter Owl》×１
He is a WIND attacker who grows as he lines up allies that can be summoned with 《Flying Kamakiri #1》. Placing 2 《Harpie Lady 1》side by side will give you a total RBI of 3100, and it is beautiful to be able to knock down 《Blue-Eyes White Dragon》just in time. You can basically ignore effects that cannot be selected as attack targets, but if 《Flying Kamakiri #1》is lined up side by side, it will be a very disgusting formation from the opponent's point of view.
《Evilswarm Hraesvelg》×１
A wall monster that can remove bounces when reversed. I think that one of the interesting points of Duel Royale is the reading of face-down monsters, so this kind of card should be adopted as a new card frame. Since he's DARK, he can't benefit from WIND synergy, but keep in mind that he can search with Harpie Harpist's effect without any problems.
《Slate Warrior》×１
An easy-to-handle WIND attacker that is rare in the old generation. If you can activate the reverse effect, it will be his ATK of 2400, so I want to take advantage of it and aim for it. Also, the debuff effect at the time of battle destruction cannot be fooled as a countermeasure against high RBI. It's not a Winged Beast, but he doesn't have much Winged Beast support, so don't worry too much about it.
《Garuda the Wind Spirit》×２
A semi-attacker who can Special Summon under loose conditions. In this Deck, there is a lot of work, such as release personnel, horizontal RBIs, and support for 《Harpie Harpist》. Note that cards that affect GY will eat up each other's resources.
《Flying Kamakiri #1》×３
The heart of this Deck. If you respect the original, you should use 2 copies, but WIND's card pool doesn't have that much room, so 3 demons are used. Recruit the cards you want according to the situation, recruit the same type to buy time, etc., and play flexibly.
《Birdface》×２
A quasi-attacker who can search for 《Harpie Lady 1》when destroyed by battle. To prevent accidents, a large number of 2 sheets are used. As a search card, the status of 1600 attack and defense, which is slightly difficult to destroy, is a flaw.
《Harpie Lady 1》×3
A concept card in this Deck. Just by arranging them side by side, you can secure a high hit point as a low-class monster. Note that the global buff effect also strengthens the opponent's WIND monster.
《Kujakujaku》×１
Heart 2 in this Deck. It is difficult to use because it requires a release to activate the effect, but the wide search range that WIND level is 4 or less and can reach his deck and his GY is attractive. The four cards used as release triggers are 《Swift Birdman Joe》, 《Hand of Nephthys》, 《Enemy Controller》and 《Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi》. Let's make good use of it.
《Hand of Nephthys》×１
《Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys》summoning support card. 《Kujakujaku》Release Trigger Part 2. Since it is a Spellcaster, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that it will be pulled out by 《Magician's Circle》in the match against Bramage.
《Quill Pen of Gulldos》×１
A bounce removal card for WIND that has few peculiarities. You can aim for reuse by collecting not only his opponent's face-up monsters, but also his Spell / Trap cards remaining on your field. It's worth noting that GY eats up all of his resources, but the cost isn't removed, he returns it to the deck, so you can replenish recruiters etc. that you've used up.
《Harpie's Feather Duster》×１
Harpie's proud power card. Compared to Heavy Storm, it's clearly over-engineered, but since it's a Harpie Deck, I decided that there was no reason not to use it. There is also an aspect that I wanted to create a strong point to choose the Harpie Deck.
《Lightning Vortex》×１
A familiar sweeper spell card. 《Harpie Lady Sisters》, 《Harpie Harpist》, 《Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys》and 《Elegant Egotist》are good for hand cost.
《Elegant Egotist》×3
His spell card that allows him to summon Harpie monsters from his deck. Thanks to this card, I can continue to make her Harpie Deck, which the original owner threw away, without giving up. In 1999's Yu-Gi-Oh, he was able to summon monsters from his deck, which was clearly a strong card. Basically, I want to call 《Harpie Lady Sisters》first to prevent accidents, but if I have 《Hysteric Party》, I want to call 《Harpie Lady 1》. Since you have 3 cards fully loaded, you can actively use it for bluffing and hand cost.
《Monster Reborn》×１
A resurrection card that represents Yu-Gi-Oh! If possible, I want to steal the opponent's high RBI.
《Pot of Greed》×１
strong. But don't use it without thought. Dispose of the cards you don't want to draw into your hand before using them.
《Premature Burial》×１
His Equip Spell card that can now be revived from the dead. What makes it different from his other decks is that it's self-bouncing and reusable.
《Mystical Space Typhoon》×１
The usual. This isn't limited to his Deck, but it's better to refrain from the so-called End Cycle, as it's easy to get caught in the opponent's bluff.
《Book of Moon》×１
His general-purpose Quick-Play Spell card that the former Yu-Gi-Oh boasts. A card that I personally didn't want to use because it's too versatile. Synergy with 《Slate Warrior》and 《Evilswarm Hraesvelg》can be expected. If there are other good cards, this is the first card I want to replace.
《Enemy Controller》×１
《Kujakujaku》release trigger 3. Since it is a Quick-Play Spell, it can also be used as a combat aid. Since it was not adopted for the Blue-Eyed Deck, I am personally happy that I was able to spotlight it.
《Harpies' Hunting Ground》×１
Problem child. At first, I used 3 copies, but I decided to use 1 copy because it has an overwhelming win rate against Sacrifice and Rockburn. Since the effect of the hunting ground is a compulsory effect, it is possible to prevent the summoning of his Harpie monster by not turning down the face down card from the opponent's point of view. Players should play carefully with this in mind.
《Holy Barrier -Mirror Force-》×1
A self-explanatory sweep trap card. I want to hit a monster with a high RBI as much as possible.
《Compulsory Evacuation Device》×１
Free chain debounce trap card. You can't get a return even if you use it properly, so you want to hit Fusion, Ritual, Advanced monsters or higher. It can also be used on your own monsters, so if you play along with your opponent's removal cards, you can use it as a defense card.
《Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi》×１
《Kujakujaku》release trigger 4. Deck bottom removal is the best removal in Duel Royale, so I want to play it carefully. Until the end, it was competing with 《Icarus Attack》for the slot, but I adopted this one to make the win rate against Rockburn more even.
《Call of the Haunted》×１
A familiar resurrection trap card. As usual, this Deck can be used more strongly with self-bounce.
《Mirror Wall》×１
One of the few playable cards used by Mai Kujaku in the original work. Note that it can only be activated when the opponent declares an attack. To be honest, I would have liked to see a card that was easier to use in the original work.
《Hysteric Party》×１
A special move card for the Harpie Deck. However, this card alone doesn't have the power to turn the tide of battle, so sometimes it's necessary to play face down with a bluff, or make a bold decision to use it as your hand cost. If you want to activate it, you want to revive at least 3 of them, so try to consciously pull them out with various recruiters and support them on a per-play basis.

Weakness

It's been about a year since I started thinking about it lightheartedly, and many people have created original Duel Royale Decks because of the name value of the Harpie Deck itself. I am proud that I have not lost. However, I can't say that I'm 100% satisfied with it, and I still groan when I stare at the list. Ideally, I would like to have a card that touches the opponent's monsters that can be recruited from Flying Kamakiri #1, but I can only hope for the future. In addition, there are some points that I am not satisfied with, such as the second copy of 《Book of Moon》and 《Birdface》, so please continue to give me your opinions and impressions.
