Playing

His Bujin has been greatly enhanced with new cards added in Shadow Specters. It's still basically Yamato, but thanks to Mikazuchi, I no longer need to use , which is not his Bujin, so I don't use it. 《Vanity's Emptiness》has great compatibility with Yamato, but it has the worst compatibility with Kagutsuchi, the ace of Xyz, so I use it as a throwaway.

Strength

With the appearance of Mikazuchi, it became possible to fight to some extent even if Yamato never came in the first hand.
Mikazuchi himself has a strong effect, but since he's one of the few Beast-Warrior's Bujins, it's worth stacking more than one.
You can use it as insurance when Yamato is defeated, or you can summon him normally and combo with Yamato.
He remains strong in battle.

Weakness

Yamato and Mikazuchi may not come in the first hand even with 2 stacks of strength and 3 stacks of Tenki.
You can get by with other cards to some extent, but it doesn't work so well, so if you don't deploy his Beast Warrior Bujin quickly, you'll be quickly killed in an environment where turn 1 kills are flying around.
With 《Vanity's Emptiness》, etc., he is strong against Dragon Ruler, but it is also a problem that he is weak against magic.
